Generational Wealth Builder Grant

"Craig Johnson"

We provide programs, resources, and opportunities designed to empower families, support single mothers, inspire youth, and strengthen our community—helping individuals build confidence, develop valuable skills, and create brighter futures.

OUR VISION FOR THE GRANT

As funding and partnerships are secured, We’ll Be the Parent intends to develop grant awards of up to $10,000–$15,000, with funds designated primarily toward an approved wealth-building or income-producing asset.

The final program structure—including award amounts, eligible assets, ownership requirements, trust or estate-planning provisions, applicant qualifications, and selection procedures—is currently being developed with the goal of creating a responsible and sustainable program.

WHO WE HOPE TO SERVE

The initiative is being developed with families experiencing significant circumstances in mind, which may include:

  • Single-parent households following the death or permanent disability of a parent.

  • Families in which a parent is serving a long-term period of incarceration.

  • Children being raised by grandparents, relatives, or other kinship caregivers.

  • Other families experiencing extraordinary circumstances that have significantly affected their ability to establish long-term financial security.

Final eligibility requirements will be published before applications open.

CURRENT STATUS: FUNDING & DEVELOPMENT

The Craig Johnson Generational Wealth Builder Grant is not currently accepting applications.

We’ll Be the Parent is actively working to build the funding, community partnerships, and program infrastructure necessary to responsibly launch this initiative.

Organizations, businesses, foundations, and individuals who believe in creating opportunities for families to build generational stability are invited to help us bring this vision to life.
